Motherboard is £125 alone so a cooler for <£10 is very good

A bit **** ive just took delivery of the carbon from scan which was £170 alone when this seems like a fantastic buy.

Great price. "Unfortunately" I already built my Ryzen system.

How are you getting on with the ryzen. This looks like a great deal but I'm in two minds. Intel / AND!

Was thinking about building something for my home office. Should I start with this? Can someone recommend some decent intel processor to go with it.

This is definitely overkill for a home office, but i suggest an i3, i5 if you can spend more

Unless you're doing something pretty intensive with your home office PC, you don't need a Z270 motherboard as you won't be running an unlocked CPU.
Without knowing what you're doing on your PC, no one can give you any useful suggestions of which CPUs to be looking at. A Skylake/Kaby Lake i3 or a Pentium G4560 would be ample for general, run of the mill office work, but if you have more specialised requirements you may need something else.

G4560 is a pretty flipping fantastic office CPU for the price but this board warrants a 7600k for a gaming build.
