It's also almost impossible to get the Madrid to fit securely in any car, and when rear facing its too upright for a newborn. I'd be buying a Joie Tilt for £17 more that would allow rear facing to 18kgs if desired (but could also be used forward facing from 9kgs for all those who think rear facing past 9 months old is just a gimmick!) and would most like fit correctly in your car.

It's cheap compared to other places but it's not rear facing.
It looks like it will be sturdy and well padded till you actually have it and you then see how horrible it is, I've tried the joie with the isofix base and wasn't sold on that either- still searching for that elusive car seat that will suit us securely and easy to use

I have the older front facing only version that I bought Xmas 15. It is mainly used in my dad's car and when we go away on holiday. Front the pics it just looks like they've simply rotated it to sit rear-facing but I don't think it would be suitable for new-borns (a carrier is far better) but is more than good enough for 12months plus esp as a spare or for a second car. Attaching using a seat belt is a bit fiddly but that's obvious compared to isofix.
Not sure I'd recommend it if it's your primary seat, I guess it depends on budget.
