Morrison's have a beef offer on, for Easter.
I was hoping one of the BIG 4 would have a £4'ish per kilo offer.
But, £5 per kilo is OK.

Not really a big deal as they are not telling you the cut.

What's to tell, it will be topside or silverside which are jointly (sad pun!) the universally most useless parts of a side of beef! £5/kg legs of lamb are around this Easter, and for me win every time - whole or cut up, stewed, roast, grilled, curried - whatever you want to use it for it will still be good, and unless you totally murder it will be more tender and far more moist!

I like Morrisons a lot, but I wish I could find a joint of beef like they show in the adverts. I've seen some rubbish pieces in the fridges on numerous occasions.

I quite agree. We used to always buy their beef joints, but Mrs. D. won't go near them now. I hate to say it, but recent buys from Tesco (the Irish beef) have been much better.
It's the type of price that pops up for Easter, Xmas etc, but is not the norm.
I was hoping Asda would have had their £4'ish offer for Easter (still time). I bought loads the last time and chopped it up and froze.
They want you in to do your full Easter shop, but I'll just be buying the beef.

I got a packet of 3 beef shin slices reduced from £4 to 75p. Friday night is the best time for meat reductions as it is quiet at Morrisons! I got a pork joint reduced from 5.99 to 99p and Fillet steak reduced from £6.72 to 49p!
