Just posting an update to reassure Frankie Howerd on his worries about the 888sport enhanced odds offer. I managed to convert the £49 in free bets into £43 cash, so total profit on the bet was £63 (would have been £99 if I hadn't set a limit on my Bet365 account)

Reasonably often. It's usually with the "big" games though. If Leicester do qualify for the semifinals, I expect they'll do it again for those games.

You may find for some reason that the free bet returned does not show in your balance at top of page, but is there when you click on withdrawals. That happened to me today, and after the Grand National on Saturday (when my 5 horses came 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th lol). All withdrawn with no problems.

Any advice on what i could do as the in play bet please. My 1st bet was Leicester to score in the first half as "No" before the match starts.

I don't think you've read the post properly. He said if the game is a draw with 10 minutes to go and you have the draw as the in-play bet, it might be worth cashing out and taking a hit on the profit in the hope someone scores a late goal.

If the in-play bet is winning, then the refund is irrelevant because you've already cashed out.

If you cash out you don't get the £50 in play bet refunded.

If they enforce the T's & C's in this particular instance, then I think that they'll (A) Refuse to refund the in-play bet if it loses and (B) Ban you from further promotions.

I don't think they will essentially "stop" your account and prevent you from withdrawing any money unless they feel you're acting fraudulently.

I can't remember how quickly 365 settle winning bets but most online bookies do settle them almost instantly, so in one respect then yes, it would work and you could then re-use the £50 quid.

That said, what happens if it's 0-0 ?

Covering all outcomes with one bookmaker is always a risk. The bookie is well within their rights to refuse to pay out. Instant £100 loss. It hasn't happened with B365 yet. But that doesn't mean it won't ever happen.

I need to place the £50 in play bet on the draw = £275 return at current odds, but may change.
Then I need to cover for Leicester winning elsewhere.
I have an account with Coral that is currently at 11 to 1 so £5 would return me £60.

Total outlay = £50 + £50 + £5 = £105. If the draw bet loses I get £50 back.
Possible return are £65, £275 or £60. So guaranteed minimum of £5 return.
If Athletico win I get £65 and the £50 losing draw bet back. Making a £10 profit.
If it's a draw I make £170 profit.
If Leicester win I get £50 losing draw back, and £60 on the bet. Meaning £5 profit.

Definately a chance of getting banned from promotions.

I used to do over 0.5; then pick a winner in the 90 once the match was started. Was only bet I was doing with them; had a few wins in a row and then got banned from promotions.

They very rarely enforce the T's & C's though which is why a lot of people tend to do it this way. There are safer ways of doing it but i think some people tend to think that because it hasn't happened to them yet it'll never happen but it still could.

This guarantees a profit so breaches their terms and conditions. Sooner or later they will stop you if it's the only bet you place.
Also the odds for "no" are currently 1/8 so you would only get £6.25 profit if both teams do not score 1st half.

Yes, the in play bet is a "risk free" bet. You have to have the money in your account to put it on. If it doesn't come in then they will refund you back into your account. This is usually within a few hours but can take them overnight sometimes.

It was the abusing the guaranteed profit clause that I was wary of. I thought £50 on Atletico at 3/10 (returns £65 + £50 free bet stake), risk free £50 bet on the draw at 9/2 ( returns £275 ) and £5 on Leicester at 12/1(888sport) ( returns £65 + £50 free bet stake ). When one team is a heavy favourite, as Atletico are, it's always difficult to get a decent profit so i think a lot of the time it's a case of either small or huge and no real in-between.

If you want to secure a minimum of a tenner profit, i think your best bet will be on Leicester to score in the 1st half.

"No" is currently 2/9 which will return £61.11 and "Yes" is 3/1 which will return £200 so do "No" as your pre-match and "Yes" as your in-play.

Minimum £11.11 profit, maximum £100.

Bear in mind that 365's T's & C's do have a clause preventing "guaranteeing profit" in this instance, but they rarely enforce it.

You can lay off a £50 bet with someone else to stay within them if you really want to play it safe though.
