If it's not got 'Made for iPhone' on it then it won't have a proper chip in it, so will be ultimately no better than one from Poundland. If it does have this on the packaging then it's an absolute bargain.

Update: I think it has. I was looking back at the image of the 30 pin one and whilst blurry, looks like it may say "made for iPhone"

Update: I contacted Sainsbury's and they have confirmed it is certified by apple and has the made for iPhone thing
