No. This Ken Loach is a multi-millionaire "champagne socialist" Marxist. In fact, it's quite amazing how many prominent Labour party figures and supporters are multi-millionaires.

Its a good film- if you're in a mood to watch something depressing (which my wife told me she wasnt after the film ended :smile: )
It does raise a lot of important points about the welfare system which can seem cruel/inhumane. But there is no getting around the fact that the system is abused by a very very large number of people and money is not infinite, so certain measures have to be put in place.
