H&B are overpriced to start with, deals like this just bring the prices down to a more normal level.

They've had this offer for years. In fact for so long that I thought it was their standard trading sales pitch.

I don't understand how people fall for this... Their wares are almost permanently on an offer of 1 kind or another. The (not so) clever bit is how they get people to purchase 2 items at their normal value, hence doubling turnover.

You generally don't have to look too hard to find virtually (if not actually) identical products in single unit quantities for around half the price of H&B.

The half price sale has just finished and been replaced with this, so you're actually slightly worse off today than you would have been last week!!!
