Is that guy having a laugh? "I wouldn't eat it so I won't put it on my head" That's a bizarre rule to have.

head and shoulders does not work for dandruff. A waste of money even at a reduced price.
Dandruff can be caused by both bacteria OR fungal infections of the scalp and the best treatment for BOTH is a hand/finger pump spray bottle of colloidal silver sprayed into the scalp. No prolonged buying of anti dandruff shampoos which are designed NOT to destroy the source of their income. Merely reduce it enough so that you have to keep on buying the stuff.

Interesting! Never expected to get so much info posting on a deals site. Have you any links to the research? Where do you buy collodial silver. More important is it on offer?

Silver has effects against most single cell organisms, bacteria, yeast, fungi and even viruses. It can increase the effects of conventional antibiotics. Silver is used in conventional medicine in some areas. Even my water filter uses silver to destroy bacteria.
There is a fair amount of information on silvers antimicrobial properties online. Some of it inaccurate especially about argyria.
If you search for colloidal silver it should show up details. There are different kinds of colloidal silver, some say three but two types are most common. Ionic silver where the particles are positively charged and reduced form where a reducing agent converts the charged particles to uncharged particles. Generally smaller particles are better. There is another form which is claimed to offer the smallest particles and claimed to be atomic size but whether that is true or not I do not know. I use the reduced form myself and not the ionic types as it is far safer and more effective for me. Reduction is done using various sugar molecules to supply electrons to neutralize the positive charge.
Colloidal silver can treat many different types of infection as it is active against so many different types of microorganisms. It can help wounds to heal too.
The best part about it is it can be made at home with some simple equipment. Controlling the current is essential and a current regulating diode can do that. Some high purity 99.99% silver wire and a stirring device which could be made from some simple parts such as a low speed PC fan and two high power neodymium magnets (a few quid). There are some directions on how to do this on youtube. There are also guides on how to make colloidal silver using batteries but they are not ideal due to the current rising too high which affects the particle size. You do need some distilled water to make it. The resistance of the water is high initially but decreases as silver enters the water and this causes the current to rise which needs to be prevented. The current needs to be kept at around a few milliamps at most depending upon the quantity of silver in the water.
I did have a link to a very good pdf guide on making it which included how to calculate the maximum current to use but ATM it is not working. It might work at some point so I will add it here. I could maybe upload it but won't do that unless there are requests. http://kevinmoth.com/DOCS/BuildCSGen.pdf
It can be purchased from many places like Amazon, ebay and the internet but it is far cheaper to make it yourself, especially if you have some basic DIY skills. Getting the distilled water is the biggest problem because of the weight and delivery costs involved. APCPure sell some decent stuff and do sometimes give discount codes. They did have 20% off ie VAT free about a month or so back and since then they offered another discount which was a little smaller around 10 to 15%. If you can buy it locally it would cut down on costs. You can make distilled water with some equipment but most people do not bother. Distilled water is not very expensive but the weight makes delivery costs fairly expensive which does put up the price quite a lot.

I have just received a code for APCPure with 20% off ie VAT free which last until friday. The code is on the homepage.
In the past I had athletes foot a fungal infection between the toes. No commercial cream would do anything to stop it. It went on an one with no solution. In the end I used lugols iodine sprayed between the toes which destroyed the fungi quickly in a few days. The only problem is it is brown and stains the skin. Not a problem on the feet but I doubt anyone would want brown stains running down the head and face. Lugols iodine contains potassium iodide and iodine and it is the iodine which stains. Potassium iodide is clear and does not stain and can be purchased in a white crystal which needs to be mixed with warm/hot distilled water. It might be effective against the fungi however at the time of my athletes foot I did not have any to try it.
