I predominantly drink JD no 7/Lidl 6 y/o whiskey with pepsi max - will either of these taste just as nice if not better if anyone has drunk them like this?

I think you've missed a trick here, since you were in Lidl why didn't you go for the cheapest coke they sell? It must be 9p a litre I would think.
