Not a great deal when you can get a VW Golf GTI for a wee bit less.

Good low deposits with these deals. I wonder if we will start to see diesels drop in price as legislation and probably company car tax turns against them.

I think they're more likely to hold their value until the time, which is not so far away if not happening already, where manufacturers opt away from diesel completely and stick to petrol and/or hybrid. Unless you will be doing at least 15,000 miles a year, or need to tow something big, or need a lot of seats, or need a van or a truck, then due to the high costs of maintaining diesel emissions equipment you'll be better off with a petrol engine. Tax on diesel can't or won'r rise because everything you eat and use comes on a diesel truck.

New ones will be Euro6 and relatively clean, so not caught up in the initial waves of 'emissions tax' in London and elsewhere. It's the older diesel cars (and trucks and buses and trains) we should be getting rid of asap.

Funny enough this company popped up on my Facebook yesterday with the same/similar deal but on a kuga for £199 and just £250 deposit - I was trying to find the catch!!

Well the catch is that the car never belongs to you, so really you're paying £5026 to rent a car for 2 years. About the same price you could spend to buy a 2nd hand one in good condition. Will never understand people who get lease cars.
