Is it just for families or can it be for 4 older friends.

The pods sleep two adults so you would need two pods for 4 adults. They have two single beds inside and you need to bring an air bed / camping bed for the kids.
This is lovely site and I would recommend it.

This is a deal for a nights stay in a shed - sorry pod, in Blackpool. I can therefore see why some may be confused by the word 'Glamping'. I think they may be stretching the use of the word to its limits with this one.

£39 to stay in a tent you must be off your [email protected] stay in a b&b for the same price with comfy bed and tv.

How on gods earth is this glamping? It's nothing of the sort.

Because you get a cosy warm dry pod with a bed not a tent like traditional camping.

Its a shed with two camp beds in it? Warmth - provided by 'a hot water bottle on request'.
'Glamping' is traditionally used to describe camping without losing life's luxuries. Eg. Water, Electricity, Cooking equipment, Bedding (sheets duvets), WC.....
Two bare camp beds in a 'pod' is far from glamorous and has none of these luxuries.
