This deal is back and is slightly cheaper than it used to be. This only seems to be for PS4 atm though.

The first proper Doom game in 20 years or so. Great game, but not something to play on a controller. You need the twitch capabilities. Get the pc version, blast some cacodemons.:wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink:

I played it fine on my PS4. Took a bit of getting used to but was worth it. I didn't stream anything on twitch also

Cool, glad to hear it works for you. Shooters like this one just don't fly for me on consoles. Not in to streaming either, I mean the twitchy mouse movements to snap aim at the bloody skull thing that just went aaah behind you.
Any performance issues on PS4? Also anyone playing the multi?
Visually the PC version has a bit more too I think. Vertical resolution scaling occurs on both console versions. Although it seems PS4 maintains a solid 1080p for the most part which is impressive.
Some great breakdowns of console vs PC performance on Digital Foundry's channel. If you are on the fence about what version of any game to get it's worth checking their deep performance analysis videos. https://youtu.be/la0O0SyM3gg

I'm not gonna deny that the PC is always the superior experience, except when the PC port is crap.
Doom is a masterfully done game on the technical side, its visuals are really good but it still manages to keep a 60 fps performance and even when there is a crapload of dudes in the screen, the performance still maintains a very good level. A few months ago it never took me more than 1 min to find a match
Anyway I live in london so I have no space in my room for a super desktop. I really grew fond of my new ps4 because it's one button press and game is on and I can just play it laying on my bet after work
