The panel itself is 8 bit anyway, I don't think there is a real 10bit LCD out there yet.
This will at least support any HDR signal you throw at it and just approximate it when displaying. It should still look very,very good.

No, this KU6000 is effectively a non-HDR TV. It's not even wide gamut.
