Do any of you buy this as a precaution to your kids being ill. Ofcourse when your kids are ill cost is not an issue but do you wait for your child to get unwell before having this in. Hope your kids don't get a fever in the night. Also do you know how stretched our precious nhs is. You are not entitled to it anything, our collective tax pays for it. Go buy it for a £1 and save the NHS £5+. Honestly some of the comments on here are disgusting. The OP is obviously more mindful than any of the opinionated and uneducated on here.

Yeah, let's waste more of the NHS's money! Why spend a quid when you can scrounge it for free?

Do you think branded paracetamol will reduce their temp or their pain more effectively? Or earn you more parent points?

My wife took 2 of our kids to the GP last week together. He prescribed some lotion for one of them and told her to go buy Calpol for the both of them.

Because when your kids are sick, cost is at the forefront of your mind, right?

If cost is on the forefront of your mind and your kids are sick you can get it (proper Calpol) free on prescription with them being under 16
