I have this and love it but I recommend charging it after use as doesn't last as long as I'd hope so can never get two full uses out of it

If anyone has one, how long realistically do you get out of a charge?

Why some people call trimmer a strimmer? Seen too many times.

'Strimmer' is just a shortened version of ‘grass trimmer'. Really had never thought about it until you mentioned it.

Strimmer is a Black and Decker brand name made up of string and trimmer, like the name Hoover become popular for referring to any vacuum cleaner so has strimmer for grass trimmers.

Whats better about it? Lower battery power and the recent feedback on the HUKD offer isn't very good. Worx on the other hand have good rep altogether and 3yo warranty on this

I bought this last year for £39.99 from Wickes and it is very good. Can't really say how long the battery lasts as I blitz around with it for no more than five minutes at a time.
Only thing worth mentioning is if you are tall (I'm 6ft 1") then it's a little short plus there is a noticeable flex in it when swinging the head to strim.
Should be nice and solid in my opinion but good value none the less.

The Aldi one is 2.0Ah whereas the Worx one is only 1.5 so should get more power and longer times between charges.
Don't get suckered by the 18v and 20v.
Haven't read the recent feedback you refer to.
