Not voting either way, but can't believe this place is still open. 4D cinema was good, but long queues to get in and over too quickly. Food and drink in the courtyard was expensive and had to pay extra for climbing activity. Play area good if a bit small for the number of kids there.
Actual factory was boring imo. Long corridors to march through with nothing to see. A few chocolate handout stations, but given the entry price, a few free Wispas doesn't quite cut it for me. There was a small car ride around m&m land which was OK for young kids, but be prepared to pay for a photo.
If the place is local, then go, but if you're travelling thus needing the hotel, my advice would be to take your kids somewhere else that is fun.

I went to this place last year. BOOKED A HOTEL, following day went to Crapbury world. very disappointed. All the above.... Dont waste your money please.

I worked for Cadbury for 10 years a while back before they got taken over. I agree with the above if its free admission go if not 3 bars of chocolate and a boring tour....I'd rather take them to the cinema and a meal out

Went in October last year with my other half. Definitely not worth the money. Highlight was the bars of chocolate given as you go in.

It's really boring. The factory part is depressing. I saw a man sitting on a swivel chair, spinning around and playing on his mobile....Some factory! The highlight of our day was nipping under the barrier and going back for more free chocolate.

Hold on. My girls were 4 and 6 and they absolutely loved the whole thing. They still talk about it more than a year on. I wouldn't hesitate to take them back.

Agree with the comments above. On the actual tickets there is a disclaimer saying this is NOT a factory tour! (as they've moved the chocolate production elsewhere) R.I.P Cadburys/Kraft/Mondelez

I have to agree that We found cadburys world to be poor. As part of the three 'free' bars of chocolate one was a curly wurly! Ridiculous.
