Also avaliable at John Lewis, Argos and Amazon at the same price, if anyone prefers to use these retailers.
Not sure, but I was interested in buying one because of the 50% cashback promotion. Ultimately, I'd rather have the discount upfront than have to claim it back; but that's just me. Thermal rolls seem to be slightly cheaper however, I remember them being circa £2~ when I looked a couple of days ago before ordering this exact model from Amazon.

I had my Dymo cashback confirmed within 24 hours and despite being advised that it would take 8 weeks it was confirmed within 48 hours and paid out in 7 days.
I managed to get a good deal at one of the old Staples stores for the Dymo Labelwriter 450 Duo at £50 (£25 with discount).

can't speak for the Brother but I have had the Dymo one for around 6 months and it really does do the trick, only negative was the label setup, was a bit hit and miss as the orientation on the screen did not match what comes out on the label. Got there in the end though....

I bought one of the old versions of these. They would be really useful if you could actually control them via bluetooth or even better Apple Print.
You may know, receipt printers are prohibitively expensive (£400+) so for hobbyists like me who have a Payleven reader (or sum up or whatever it's changed to) it's not compatible.
Something like this would be ideal, but I can't do anything but print stickers from my laptop.

If any one has a. Costco card they have £26 for as far. Back as I can remember . Labels are no cheap but ok for household use now and again. If your using regularly then opt for more expensive commercial on around £150 then at least you can buy the bulk labels roll cheap.
Labels rolls are free if you have a FedEx or uk mail account . Business users
Also business users get a free label printer when they sign up for business account .

I had the ql560 for about 4 years which worked fine until it gave up. The ql570 I have for just over a year and is basically the same, only issue for hard users will be is I don't think the blade is changeable like the 560 once it gets dull. If for business use like me it's better to get the bigger more expensive Machines. My current zebra printer allows me to print dhl labels
