I take it that if it can deal with metal it would be fine for drilling cinder blocks? Thanks

I haven't tried this myself but my BIL failed completely and slightly damaged this exact drill's front loader on a concrete wall. I use it more for small jobs and would say it's better to get a more powerful SDS drill for cinder blocks. It's not fun to use on solid wooden doors either but gets the job done in the end.
Plasterboards are no problem for this drill, I hung up ceiling-bound blinds without any issues. Not sure on brick walls but since it's stated it can be used for masonry (also on the Homebase/Argos reviews), I guess it'll be fine.

Had this drill for years and drilled loads of brick and its still going strong. The largest brick bit I have used is 14 though.

You are really paying for the brand here. I think these are quite basic low quality drills assembled in Hungary possibly, using chinese components. You would probably be better off with a fully chinese drill using a more powerful motor or pay the extra for Bosch blue. Nice looking drill though I have to say, looks the part. Also normally this type of drill is very low torque with no torque clutch settings so not ideal for driving screws and also not suitable for dense masonry either so quite limited.
