Knowsley is not what it used to be, very disappointed in our last visit.
West Midlands is about 10 times better.

I disagree. I took my kids (aged 13 and 15) to Knowsley just before Easter 17 and it was a great day out. The Safari itself was good, with lots to see, but then we went around a bit of a mini zoo too with various animals (including giraffe's), followed by a sea lion show and then a bat cave. I paid more than this for 3 of us and thought it was good value.
