Those salad only iPad deals are pretty good. Wish there was more of a range to choose from though. Getting a bit fed up of Caesar.

I saw this today in store, it was a pay monthly deal rather than a pay as you go deal

Yes I understand the deal BUT surely quoting £9.99 is misleading if the minimum outlay is £21.99, guess I'm just an idiot! I bow down to your superior knowledge and intelligence

30 days notice applies overall cost around £23

Could you stick a normal sim in this or would it need a mifi sim?

it says 1 month rolling contract so you can set it up and then cancel but it looks like you will act pay the 1st month and the you will be credit checked ASWELL.

You have to give 30 days notice so even on a 30 day rolling contract you would need to pay 2 monthly billing cycles with the cheapest at £12 for 2GB the minimum you'd pay for the device overall is £34. I'd rather fork out a little more for a Pay As You Go version and not have the hassle of signing up in store / credit checks and having to ring to cancel.

At least you understand how this works. This type of deal has been posted many a time, and still we get the idiots that think it is £9.99 in total.

Buy device on day 1 and give termination notice on day 1 = minimum contratual obligation of 30 days.
If cheapest monthly contract is £12, then minimum contractual cost is £12 when termination notice is given on day 1, implying overall minimum cost would be £21.99 including hardware.
