Came across this maxi nutrition protein 1.1kg in wilkinsons Castleford today for £3. Think it normal sells for around £15. Use by date is the end of July 2017. Maybe store specific. Bought 2 and left 5 on the shelf. Not the best protein but a bargain for the price.

Seems a good price but isn't this stuff just a placebo - serious question? The guy that owns my gym eats super healthy and I know he buys chicken from Musclefood in bulk.
Just says to me, train, rest, eat sensibly, sleep and give up booze. He's never mentioned any shakes or anything else - I probably don't lift enough! And he just is super strong and toned instead of an disproportionate meat head haha!
If I could do 25-35KG + the rest on the dumbbell exercises he does I'd consider myself strong....

The people I have spoken to have said you don't need to use powders etc but its down to convience; eating chicken for example would be better but would you want to eat chicklen just before a workout? very good price though

I've notice you have posted on quite a few recent weight training related deals, and each time you seem to have to make some sort of negative comment about people who are bodybuilders and their body proportions, why is that, why does it bother you so much that you feel you need to keep banging on about it ?
If these people offend you so much then why don't you go and tell them to their faces, instead of bitching about it on a forum behind their backs.

I weight train but don't body build / high strength train but have spoken to a number of people who do, as I was curious about the use of powders.
