The magic hat is made from a soft black knitted material and is one size fits all. On the left hand side of the hat, within a sewn pocket is a small box which is the battery, an earpiece and a controller for the unit. I have one of these. Although it works fine, you do look a bit odd as the battery pack and speakers give you a strange looking bulge in the sides of the hat.
