After checking the Police watch deal, I found this Timberland number. RRP was £175 (they say), black face, brown leather strap. No date window, which is unusual. Sold by Amazon, quick delivery with Prime.

Yeah, that's really weird, it's almost like they were trying to produce a watch as cheaply as possible, and then sticking an unrelated 'designer' brand on it so they could charge more.

my thoughts too. I don't normally take that view on branded stuff, but if it weren't for the Name on there, there's no real design of any significance.

Too many 'free product' reviews on Amazon.......and (amazingly) even some of the freebie reviewers mark it down.....it must be poor.

I wouldn't buy fashion watches. It's literally a £5 movement with a name printed on the front. Timberland does have some nice designs though.

No they are not. They're distributed by ICG (Swiss Military, Romer, FCUK). The quality of the leather straps is excellent, usually with a cheaper Hitori movement though.
