Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron's Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best- guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.
As an uprising emerges, Garrett finds himself entangled in growing layers of conflict. Lead by Orion, the voice of the people, the tyrannized citizens will do everything they can to claim back the City from the Baron's grasp. The revolution is inevitable. If Garrett doesn't get involved, the streets will run red with blood and the City will tear itself apart.

This game got a lot of slack but is no that bad. You need to invest the time in learning the controls and actually using the various different arrow and equipment options and exploring each level and breaking into the many rooms. Always more than one way to approach a situation whether it's confrontation or stealth. You can finish it quickly if you stick to main mission but there are plenty of side missions to go through.

Yeah, I've been a big fan of the franchise, but the trouble is that other games have come along since the original Thief games and done the whole thieving concept often in a better and more interesting way. For example the Bethesda RPGs have good thieving elements, but they also have all kinds of other things that you can do on top of that, so this game can seem a bit dull and one dimensional in comparison.

I agree, really enjoyed my time with this around launch, different pace to what else was out there and if youre into stealth worth a playthrough imo.

Yeah I got it with GWG and played it for all of about 10 minutes, before deciding not to touch it again. Not that it's terrible, but I don't have a lot of gaming time so tend to stick to the very best games.

This deal is still on if anyone's is still interested. I'd like to hear some more opinions on the game if possible? Was a big fan of the older Thief games. Missed it on gold but very tempted at this price.
