Dragonborn - Journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the vast island of Solstheim.Traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land as you become more powerful with shouts that bend the will of your enemies and even tame dragons. Your fate, and the fate of Solstheim, hangs in the balance as you face off against your deadliest adversary – the first Dragonborn.

I revisited this game recently after playing extensively after release. It felt strangely old and clunky. But very good price for those who are after it. Heat added for deal though.

Note that this is the Legendary Edition (all Skyrim DLC) rather than the Special Edition (remaster). Not that it matters much, as standard Skyrim on PC with a few mods and free HD pack is pretty much the same anyway... if not better.

Haha I made that mistake. I bought this thinking it was their the remastered version!
Activated it on Steam and then it dawned on me. Stupidly I had all the DLC already so all I got was a new icon.

What mods and HD pack do you recommend?

I thought you get the Special edition for free what you have the legendary edition anyway~?

I think that was a time limited thing (which, of course, has since expired) after the release of the Special Edition.

That was if you had the legendary edition before the special edition got released I did, and I got the special edition and I've still not played either :disappointed:

Isn't the special edition just improved textures which you can get with free mods?

It's also 64bit and DX11 so supports more than 4GB of vram on Windows 10, so better for modding once skse64 comes out.

Ah I see, so better to get the special edition when it's on sale rather than this. Already played the base game on the horrible PS3 version so I'll wait on that, thanks.

But will modders bother with it? Surely a lot of them have moved on to new games since.

I have been playing this for two and a half years now...600 hours+... completed main quest , but havent finished civil war, half way thru solstheim story, not touched dawnguard dlc yet, a little way into falskaar mod, not been to wyrmstooth, lustfully thinking about dreamborne isles, forgotten city, moon and stars, moonpath, summerset isles... damn so much game for the money! I sometimes think i'll never get bored. and now theres a translation for vicn's Vigilant !
If you just read all that as gobbledegook then I will pray to talos for you.
last night went to the shrine of azura for the first time! ridiculous !

do you get to keep playing with the same character?

I chose to continue with the same character as I was progressing in the smithing and alchemy and didnt want to reset at 0... its no fun when you are getting your ar5e kicked by everyone and everything ! another reason is I was progressing the main questline, albeit slowly, and didnt want to re-do parts of the game when there is SO MUCH to do anyway...
plus the fact that I only get 2 or 3 hours a week to play !
