Bought 4 then went back for another 6. The woman in the shop said the offer would probably run for another week or two (till the end of month) or till stocks last.

Great price. Used a few tubes of this converting my van to a camper last year. Never saw it for less than a fiver and often much more than that.
Thanks great advice stopped growing now as migrated around house. As our house is south facing caused differential expansion of inner blocks and hence plaster cracks, no subsidence thank god.Displaces itself around the house so no need for stitch as has stopped moving.Cheers

Thanks for the info, I'm not worried about the acetic acid, and I always use masking tape
Silicon has been around for ages

could I use this as a flexible filler for expansion cracks in walls

Yes you can but it should really be used after the crack has settled, if it has a risk of expanding more the filler has a very limited expansion and is based more on heat expansion or vibration than buggered foundations.
I would look into a stitching kit 1st if you think the crack will grow.

Guess I am old school, a bit of spit on the finger and off you go
( I have switched spit for washing up liquid in water recently )

If it's silicon based then it's ok, anything else eg acrylic, water soluble, etc then it's rubbish

This is a single pack PU. The others you mention are rubbish but PU uses different chemistry altogether. The main benefit over silicone is it doesn't stink of acetic acid and cleans up well with acetone.

Doesn't say + anywhere on the TP site, so presume it isn't. Still a good saving, they have black too if anyone needs it.

Randomly I picked a finishing kit up from home bargains. It comes with a removal tool, various angle guides for £1.49 might be worth a look

Yep, finger sprayed with WD40 smooths out Sika without sticking! Keep a rag handy to wipe the finger clean every now and then.

8 years ago I used some leftover grey sikaflex car body panel adhesive to seal round the kitchen worktops. Still looks the same as the day I put it on.
Grabbed a couple of these for collection as I am bound to need it when I seal round the windows later this year
This will beat any of the stuff unibond does.

There are LOTS of different types of Sikaflex available - be useful if the type was in the title.

Stixall is also an equivalent 3 in 1 and a bit cheaper on amazon

Can't see stixall for lower than £3.70 on Amazon. Sika is a good brand. This is hot.

fab price but it will cost a bit for some dimethylformamide and a full face respirator when you try to get the bath out without taking half the wall with you! Soudal fix all is a very workable sealer/bond which doesn't go off as fast as sikaflex and also sticks like shlt to a blanket. Its also solvent free and mould resistant
