DO NOT TOUCH PARCEL2GO. They will not pay your claim. Go direct and pay the extra. myHermes suck, but they ALWAYS pay the claim for missing or damaged items (Just be sure to insure it for the full amount).

Have sent over a 1000 parcels with Hermes . Had around 5 problems. Each time I was refunded for the items with minimal fuss .
Maybe if you actually use Myhermes instead of trying to save a few pence by going through the comparison sites , you would see there actually quite good .
Ever tried claiming from Royal Mail ? . I would rather pull teeth .

I dont understand why parccel2go saying price drop once you get the quotations its only 9pence cheaper than myhermes booking directly for less insurance value .

Good price, but unfortunately I've had a few problems with hermes over the last few years and I'm not sure I'd send anything with them without protection or signature

Never, even again will I use these rogues. Just try and claim and then you'll see. I now go direct to Hermes and I must admit their service has improved over the last 6 months and claiming is a doddle compared to Parcel2Go or Royal Mail.
