probably the cheapest current rx 460 4gb model. free delivery with this.
see the 2gb model for just under £90 so for a few extra £££ this is worth it in games that benefit from more video memory

considering the 480 is 149.99 at OCUK this isn't the best deal
lowest you should consider at this point is 470

On a pure price / performance yes, but don't forget this is a relatively low power draw and short card which may be suited to some PC builds. Otherwise cards like the 1050 wouldn't exist

Lol with all the 480 deals atm I misread this thinking it was a 480. That would be a hot deal

You might see some RX 470's at £119 if you are lucky soon, but RX 480 nahhhh.

I've been between this and a 1050ti for a while, but then the 480 came in at £150 and i don't know what to do anymore.

The only reason to consider a 1050 / 460 is 1) you have a crap 300w psu and can't/won't upgrade, 2) You have a small case and nothing longer will fit (or you need a low profile card), 3) you have the pc in the living room and need it to be silent (1050 fans don't spin till 60 degrees hit)
If you want value for money get the 480 4gb.

For months now I've watched prices drop from £249 down to £99 and thinking is this a cheap upgrade from my R9 270 2gb card?

It's mostly a sidegrade from a 270. The xtra VRAM would be useful in some games, but we'd (I say we because I'm also using an R9 270!) be MUCH better off getting an RX 470 or 480.

This isnt an upgrade from a 270. This is an RX 460, maybe you're talking about the 480.

Guys, when people are talking about the RX 480, which card are they referring to? I searched on ebay and quite a lot of different models appeared for that model? eg, 3 of them, but there were even more...
And when you mention the price of £150, could you share a link to the specific model and shop to have a look pls?

Read the 2nd post. Or type 480 in hotukdeals search and all shall be revealed.

I'm still unclear in why are there different cards all called the same, RX 480? ie, do you know a good webpage where I could for example compare what's different between those 3 models listed in the picture I got from ebay?
I'm learning about GPUs at the moment, so I don't quite know where to start yet...

Some will be overpriced, some will be 4 not 8GB, others may have more exotic cooling solutions, you may be paying for the brand name, some may be factory overclocked, etc. But anything with an RX 480 will be an RX 480, they're just not equal. That said, they should all perform strongly regardless.
P.S. The middle one is from the US so expect to add taxes onto that too. Personally I wouldn't buy this kind of stuff on eBay at all.
