This really is a smart tv.

I asked it, 'What's 10 minus 6, minus 4?' and it said nothing!

It's rather a stretch to call this KU6000 an HDR TV, it doesn't even gave a wide gamut backlight.

can some clever tech type person advise which of these tv's is better? the samsung in the post or this LG from currys?

Grabbed a KU6470 when they were silly cheap. To be honest picture quality isn't much better than my 3 y/o panny plasma. It is cheaper to run, 89 watts v 275 watts.. It'll do for now.

Great TV however, if want proper 4k and HDR you need to look at the 8 series and above.
