I have this exact model and it gives a falsely low reading. Frequently it has to be recalibrated so that the needle points to zero.

I was in last week and they kept announcing it over the tannoy but they were only £1.00 then,

I can make myself weigh anything up to a stone less or more just by shifting my balance tiny amounts on these - if you want an accurate reading you really have to pay more. Although, best scales I have found are the Wii Balance Board because it gives you a balance reading - get that centered and the weight is then accurate. And you can pair it with Android or Raspberry Pi if you don't have a Wii.

Not sure if it is possible to use with a recent version of Android anymore. Wouldn't recommend using it with a Wii as it tkaes ages to confirm all the prompts on Wii fit
