Only found out about this the other day however looks a solid opening price for this.
Maybe one day we will get Valkyria Chronicles 3.
Looks like preorders get a soundtrack bundled in with this too.
Due for release end of June.

I worry about this game. Just looks like a muddled JRPG that they slapped Valkyria's name on. I hope it's good but I have my doubts.
On the brighter side though, Valkyria chronicles 2 holds up super well on Vita

Apparently only a download version is available for vita. Them memory cards are expensive!
As for the game, I prefer turn based combat but will give it a go.

I thought VC2 was disappointing. The map repetition is just ridiculous. The original VC though is brilliant, and probably one of the best turn based games of all time.

Agreed, although Front Mission 3 is the best imo

This is absolutely awful if import impressions are anything to go by.

I am certainly a fan and I have applied the heat mate. I also pop this one here for anyone who is a fan. I've actually ordered the Japanese version from (obviously) Japan a while ago and played through it a bit.
Cheers for that. Probs the best price about for Dark Rose atm. Those weapons are huge!

Somehow I never tried it. Might download it for my Vita as it's only £4.99. Cheers for the recommendation.
Personally I'm looking forward to Julian (X-com, Chaos) Gollop's new turn based game Phoenix Point. Seems to be a mish mash of classic X-com, Lovecraftian Horror and... err... procedurally generated Impossible Creatures style animal hybrids.
Yes that's the best price as I've been tracking it for sometime. But I ordered my Japanese copy for only £11 delivered from Japan, lol. Sadly, my language skills are poor so I managed to survive for 10 minutes only. :disappointed:

Thanks for that, it looks interesting. If you buy Front Mission you will get your £4.99 worth. Can play for up to 200 hrs easily if you wish. Keep a notepad handy too, there lots of layers to that game. One of my desert island discs that one.

I've barely mastered English so it's a no from me on foreign titles. Don't think I've had one since the days of my chipped PS1

I heard from many Valkyria fans who imported this game they all were so disappointed with this one, they all recommend to avoid this. They all say it's terrible

FFS I didn't realise they'd ditched turn-based battles for this. It looks just like every other crappy JRPG clone now.

You can get the Vanguard Edition from VGP.com in Canada for 55CAD which is roughly £33 and comes in a Collectors box with a metal pin and cd. Just a few pounds dearer than this but a little bit more collectible I reckon

Took this advice and got it, pleasantly surprised at the speed of the delivery from vgp, the game however, at a very early stage seems not so great, was always going to buy it being a massive vc fan, if only in the hope that getting English language sales makes them think about localising 3 and perhaps remastering 2 and 3, seems unlikely though!
