Whilst on my lunch in Sainsburys Swansea I saw the Philips One Blade on offer, also the blades are half price.
I already have one of these and I'm very impressed with it.

Worth the money? Considered getting one the last few times I've seen them on sale but I only end up shaving about once every two weeks  I just use a cheap Wahl trimmer to keep it in check currently

Sorry but I just don't get it, is this to shave or to groom your beard? How is this any different from the other 100s trimmers?

I use mine for shaving but you can also use it for grooming.
Not as close as my Philips shaver but very quick to get my shaving done.

Still don't see the point of it tho? It's like a trimmer but takes ages to charge and you also have to change the blades like a razor while not shaving as close. Looks like a combination of both's worse sides to be honest. Anyone with a groomed beard can give his opinion?

It is a niche device. It is brilliant for trimming the edges of a beard as it is small, easy to handle and you can see exactly until what point it'll cut. Plus it cuts closer to the skin than a normal trimmer, so you can get away with just using that to trim the edges without also having to follow up with a shaver to get rid of the remaining fuzz.
The second thing I found it really good at is if you want to get rid of your beard or have the tendency to get ingrown hair. As it doesn't cut quite as close as a normal shaver (but still close enough to give you a shaved look rather than a stubble) I don't get issues with ingrown hairs and shaving pimples when using it. When going from beard to clean shave I'll use that thing for a few days before switching back to my normal shaver.
Do I regret buying it? No - it's good at what it does, and since I don't use it too often I'm still on my first blade after a year. But can it replace a shaver? Not for me.
