This is not a deal as such but a permanently low price which is cheaper than some of the deals out there @ 43.2p/100g. Some retailers charge as much as 99p so if you usually pay that price might be worth changing where you get it.

Whilst I really like the original pears soap, I didn't like this at all reminded me of imperial leather.

It's been made in India for years and years. Which was absolutely fine, but a while back they changed the formula to use cheaper ingredients and make it last a shorter time. So really it's not "Original" Pears soap at all but "New Original" Pears soap which neither, smells, cleans, feels, or lasts like the soap that made the Pears brand famous. Like everything now, it's only the "name" that matters, sod quality, the suckers will still keep buying the "name" whatever.
