I don't think I've ever seen an electric toothbrush for sale anywhere near its RRP. Still £45 is a very good price, I wouldn't ever pay extra for something as pointless as bluetooth on one of these, but at this price its okay.

Was about to purchase Pro-4000 for 49.99 and thought to give HUKD a check.
Can't thank anymore to the OP.

I prefer the Sonicare range but the thing is i absolutely hate these electric toothbrush companies. They solder the battery in these so you can't change them yourself without soldering experience. They use a cheap battery that is to last just after warranty. 90% of all electric toothbrushes last an average of 2yrs and its the battery that usually dies, yet they still want to pay 50-100+ for a new one. Tried changing the battery twice myself but had zero luck
Though I've never known people to have that issue, I only bought mine recently but my Mum has had her (cheap) OralB for over 10 years and its still going, other family members have had theirs for a long time as well.

Sorry but 45 quid for an electric toothbrush, when you can get one from the same company for under £15, I really don't understand what the benefit of paying 3 times the price it doesn't brush your teeth any better?! Sorry but this is just marketing and stupidity after that price point surely... happy for someone to show me some facts telling me otherwise!

Yeah I think at this price its just adding pointless features to justify a higher price. Having said that, there are a few features I wanted that I don't think were on the really cheap ones, such as pressure sensor and sensitive mode. I paid £30 for mine and am happy with it. The advice I had from my dentist was not to get one of the really cheap ones, but not to pay loads for pointless features such as bluetooth.

£45 for 2 years and you use it 2-3 times per day .... absolutely a steal ! vs to going to a UK dentist which rip you off massively

Going to a UK dentist?
I think most people can manage to brush their own teeth all by themselves!

Well you can say that but it's a known fact that they do charge extortionate amount for dental services. BTW I didn't say that we all go to the dentist for them to brush our teeth ! Did I ?

I got the Oral-B 4000 from Costco for £36, also Bluetooth but it wouldn't connect to my phone or tablet.
