People voted hot on a 1070 with some fancy cooler for almost £400. Buy this. Seriously. I bought my 1070 for 320 in September and quite possibly the best graphics card I've ever had in my entire life. I haven't left my computer room since last September. My wife probably divorced me already. Please send help!
I dropped a similar amount on their ASUS dual 1070 last month. Had the same thought "should I wait for another drop" and I have to say...BUY IT. Worth every penny, and even if it drops a bit in price later on, you get to run everything in ULTRA now (if your CPU doesn't suddenly become a bottleneck. My old i5 is being retired soon as some games just need more cores/higher clock speed).

1060/rx480 can play with everything on ultra too. It depends what resolutions you're wanting, how much you want your fps to be showing over 60 in the corner as you play, and whether you're wanting to dip into VR or not as to whether you need a card this beefy to begin with

Eh? We've had plenty of £330 1070s since release - this is a fairly normal deal price. If you've found a £300 1070 somewhere, please submit it as a deal immediately!

Not a bad price , but under current circumstances , the price is bound to drop further...should be closer to sub £300 very shortly , due to this been considered as old stock and the newer 1070's will be having a refresh on the memory speed.....not the best time to buy !!!

The pound is continuing to fall, and at £330 the UK still (!) has what appear to be the cheapest non-blower 1070s in the entire world (US$335 pre-tax). I could see 1070 prices dropping... but not in the UK, not by more than a tenner or two, even with those new cards with Nvidia-approved faster VRAM.
Unless you're suggesting a new Golden Age where it's normal for Britain to get the cheapest tech in the world? Boris should have had that on the side of his bus! :man:

Still using the Gigabyte 980Ti I snagged from the Amazon Warehouse student deal for £155! I'd expect to see the 1070 drop sub 300 in 2017.
Heated for a good price right now.

The 1070 has already been under £300.
Will probably drop again any day now.

Can I upgrade my GTX 750i to this graphics card?
As I want to play VR GAMES.
