You have to book them 3 months + in advance.
there are also a number of other options for getting there via treks , activities , train ect.

Try the Lares trek instead, I don't believe you need a permit for that and its just as interesting!

Looked good, but flights at those prices don't seem to exist when you click on them to book further.

Can't get those prices. Direct flight (12 hr) is starting from £580 and cheaper options are upwards of £450 with a minimum 17~27 hours journey time. I'm actually going there in late April.
