Can anybody who has this model tell me if it vibrates a fair bit - had ours a week or so and levelled the feet but it vibrates a bit on spin also the water inlet makes quite a noise?

I have one, use it as a doorstop rather then get charged 20p+ on premium calls for plugging it in

I have had this machine for over a year and it's been fantastic. It's on in our house at least twice a day, very quiet and everything gets washed brilliantly.

Very easy to use, I have set a favourite programme that I use most of the time but it also determines wash time by weight of clothes so I can still choose favourite wash for a smaller load and it adjusts wash time accordingly.

To anyone that has one of these, what's the quickest wash for a fullish load (ie greater than 2kg for the 14 minute wash) and can you do 'spin only' for hand washing? Thanks.

Shockingly bad after sales on mobile phones. Make you jump through a thousand hoops before they will even accept an RMA. I wont be buying a Samsung again. You would think they would be better after the incendiary batteries.

Like I said in an earlier post they make the exact same machines with different numbers and this appears to be the exact same model being sold by JL, except that the last 3 digits are different, the CN refers to a Currys exclusive and the following number is the colour code in this offer on here.

Ok thanks. Will look elsewhere then as it was only the normal quick washes, rather than delicates or any other programmes, that I wanted to be able to use the maximum 1400 spin for.

I'm sorry no I can't, after this I decided that I would go back to a 50%/50% tall wide fridge /freezer as I could not afford another£1,000+ disaster, The only advice I can give is do you really want an in the door ice maker or drinks dispenser as theses reduce the interior volume, and if of the plumbed in type you need every 6 months to replace a filter for the water at a high cost.

Can anyone confirm if you can override the default spin speed of any wash programme you select so that it will use the max 1400 spin speed ? I ask because our ageing Hotpoint allows us to do that but I know some don't and it would be a downer if it required a separate 1400 spin to be kicked off after the wash cycle ends if we wanted the clothes to come out as dry as possible.

What is the difference between this model and the one posted previously for the LG FH4U2VFN3?

Everyone thinking this is a 9kg washing machine are mistaken, the drum volume size does not match any of there other 9kg sizes which are bigger. But it does match there 8kg, have a check on there website.

Had a top range LG for about 5 years. Its not been too bad, but would probably stick to Miele or Bosch next time. Had a few issues, selector dial freezing, rubber going black mold, pump is on it's way out.

Amstrad emailer phone which no one has, everyone who like to support Britain but buy anything but British.

Brits can shout about how much they support Britain but I doubt any have Ebac washing machines.

I'm sure nearly all of us have Chinese/Vietnamese made or Korean phones, German cars, Asian factory clothes rather than anything British like an Amstrad.

Had a similar but older model that had woeful issues with the front screen and decided to fill the drum full and burst got water all over our kitchen wrecking the electrics

I was tempted by this but went for the 8kg Samsung AddWash with bubble soak, digital inverter motor and 10 year warranty for £299. Heat for the bigger drum!

Does look nice but Samsung should concentrate on TVs phones only.

Information I have worked out by various forums is that Samsung make very good TV's and phones but rubbish fridge freezers and washing machines, I only found this out after I had wasted my cash on a Samsung American Fridge/Freezer and after 2 years when the guaranty had run it needed an electric control panel replacing, like others on the forums, at a cost of about £200. The repair man did a bypass for £40 but that only lasted another year. A lot of money down the drain.

The reason I ask is AEG/Electrolux use small repair centres & are terrible.

Also Panasonic are hopeless, take ages try to get you to look at & fix parts back onto the machine.

Domestic & general have been fine for me. Siemens service has been excellent.

Our 5 year old Samsung Eco bubble is sounding like a jack hammer on full spin so is going to be replaced.
Not been overly impressed with the Samsung, it looks the part but still relies on belts and pulleys to drive the drum, it is fairly noisy as well.
A LG with direct drive and 5 year warranty is a no brainer for me and I will be ordering one today.

just in time for mothers day, I've even got several loads of washing so she can get some use out of it. i mean nothing worse than someone buying you a new beer mug and not getting you any beer.

Fantastic washing machines these LG are. My first one is still going strong in a rental property. We replaced it with the steam version and a larger load model about 8 years ago and that one gets hammered almost daily. Could not reccomend more.
