What's the difference between this game and the other Kingdom Hearts that's been released recently?

358/2 Days does not appear in playable form, and instead features the Nintendo DS game adapted into 2 hours and 50 minutes worth of cinematic retelling, and features trophy support.

This is now getting confusing. I didn't buy any of those two separate release. So did those two releases actually had these two games in playable form? My understanding is they've put both of those two releases in one either way?

recoded is also a cinematic ^_^ both 1.5 and 2.5 have two games on each and 1 cinematic :]

The ps4 version is both remixes 1.5 and 2.5

Each remix (including 2.8.) is 2 video games and a long video explaining the story of the 3rd game.

They've done such a poor job with the titles of these remastered collections. I had to read up on what each actually included too. Just confuses people unnecessarily.

​Those two games were DS games. When they decided to bring everything over to PS3, it wasn't worth remaking everything for the new system. So they made them a movie. Hope that helps?

So the question here remains is are they movie on those two separate releases too? That's the bit I'm confused about now. Because all retailers are claiming you're getting 6 games on this.

​Everything will be included. The two games and cg movie from 1.5 and the two games and movie from 2.5. Nothing will be missed but would be more accurate to say it includes 4 games and the story of 2 games condensed into cg movies. But for some reason retailers are writing 6 games, unless square enix are keeping secrets.

Hope I'm making sense or even answering your question, getting a bit muddled myself now.

Great price for all games. I'm still hoping XB1 get 1.5/2.5/2.8 as a bundle down the line, but I think that's never gonna happen.

Just to clarify again as a kingdom hearts fan here :P

This comes with 4 games and 2 movies as said before. Retailers are counting the movies as games due to the nature of them as they are games turned into cinematics. With this you get the exact content you would get if you bought 1.5 and 2.5 separately on ps3. Each one had 2 games and a movie.

Then you have 2.8 which is a further 2 games and 1 movie which is set after 1.5 and 2.5.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is playable games of Kingdom Hearts 1 and PS2 remake of Chain of Memories, and cinematic (non playable) version of 358/2 Days.

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 is playable games of Kingdom Hearts 2 and the PSP game Birth by Sleep, and a cinematic (non playable) version of Re:coded.

Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is a playable remaster of Dream Drop Distance, a new (short) game Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage and a cinematic (non playable) version of Kingdom Hearts X.

This PS4 release contains all the content of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5, so is 4 playable games and 2 cinematic versions. You'd need to purchase this and 2.8 to get all the Kingdom Hearts content ready for the release of 3.
