True, I also get the impression that the pieces have less flesh now compared to several years ago.

Yes, KFC now seem to actively avoid giving you any breast pieces, the only pieces with any meat on them.
I always get the 3 piece meal. I used to buy a 3 piece meal and get at least one breast piece, a leg, and a thigh. Now I don't even get a breast piece unless I specifically ask for breast pieces, which always constitutes a 15 minute wait and makes me feel awkward for asking.
This is why I've only eaten at KFC once in the last 2 years... on this occasion I got 2x thighs and 1x leg and still felt hungry afterwards. I'd simply recommend not eating at KFC anymore.

I think it was originally £5, then £5.99, now £6.99
They rather just make it an everyday deal as it doesn't seem that special of a price anymore. Do they still do the £3 take five deal? That's pretty good.

My parents taught me that the way KFC treats their chickens is shameful, there are better places to leave my money at (and no, I am not vegan).
But I can understand how people who put quantity and price over anything else and stuff their faces with greasy bones served in a bucket like some sort of farm animal don't have any moral objections against it.

Totally agree. I hate that the concept of halal meat in slipping into normal society. I don't want to eat meat that is associated to an islamic ritual. Not because it goes against my religious views (i have none), but because I dislike Islam and the damage their followers are doing to the world.
I get the business model - they are attracting a rapidly growing minority to their product. But I don't agree with it.

I stopped buying KFC because you don't get a choice of what portions they put in the bucket - at least in US they give you the option of leg/thigh or breast/wing - for those who don't like the dark greasy meat.

it's a salt, basically. And one of the biggest travesties of injustice aimed at an additive in history. I don't imagine that it helped when food manufacturers kowtowed to the unfounded hype and started labeling things 'MSG free' - thus permanently brandishing it an evil additive.

you might as well boycott all meat, as that means you dislike christianity in that all the state sponsored terrorism in iraq, afghanistan, libya and support of israel and other dubious states. Or many of the horrific acts of colonial empire in the east and in africa spreading christianity coupled with plundering of their resources. You dislike a faith that does not support such actions as above or otherwise. You have fringe and extreme elements in all walks of life...love not hatred

Hmm looks like this is a bit of a con then - save all the chicken 'runts' and give them away in this deal. Is anyone sure they're not wings? :P
Actually it looks like the KCAL advice given isn't for the whole bucket but for the perceived portion size. If this is not the case then at only 1150 calories I'm going to eat a 14 piece bargain bucket every day.

Just had a look at this deal but something doesn't quite stack up here: no mention on the website you are actually getting 9 pieces of "Original Recipe Chicken" and also the nutritional info for Chicken Tuesday claiming only 550 calories?!?
3 Original Recipe Chicken pieces are listed at 730cal, so how can 9 pieces be under 550cal, should be 2190?
So either the pieces are small, very small, or their nutritional info is massively incorrect.
