Nice idea for an Easter present for the kids as the weather is getting a bit warmer now. Wooden sandpit with a height adjustable high UV level protection canopy that also doubles as a lid when not in use. Self assembly and measures 118cm x 118cm when put together. Also has plastic coated corners so no sharp edges and kids can sit on them too.
Will be in stores from Thursday 30th March at £34.99 but if you have got the latest Lidl magazine, there is a voucher in there for £5 off a £30 spend so you could potentially get it for £29.99 - Thanks to supertramp7 for the deal :sunglasses: LINK TO £5 OFF £30 SPEND

I bought one of these a few years ago. When it outlived its usefulness as a children's sandpit we grew strawberries in it.

How do I get a Lidl magazine? Are they just free to pick up in store?

picked up one of these last year, they are really good but when i redo the sand this year I make sure to use some kind of ground sheet attached to the bottom of the box as some weeds do come through the mesh it comes with and the pit starts to rise when the sand starts making its way under the wood

warning - this does take a LOT of sand - think ours was about £20 to fill.
Fab little sand pit - we've had it about 3 years now and the only problem is our LO took to crawling onto it when it was closed so we've had to re-tarp the roof.

Does anyone know how heavy this is, in the box? I don't have a car so will have to carry it home.
