If you like this then this price is good but if you like Whiskey then you would be much better off spending that same amount of money on Lidl's 6 year old Western Gold it is vastly superior in quality and flavour.

Taste is of course very subjective, prefer rum really but i like this on occasion - but will give this Western Gold a try at some point. Thanks for suggestion.

Absolutely read my mind - I have turned to this since a year ago and haven't looked back....
It is £15.50 all year round and the bottles of mixer in Lidl are always at a low price if you prefer to mix..
Heat for the deal nonetheless as it is much cheaper than everywhere else.

The fact that 40% can be knocked off on a regular basis shows this stuff is vastly overpriced. £15 is about right.

But it's not vastly superior in taste for everyone........... some may even say it's inferior
Taste is subjective by definition.

Heat added as it's a good price but for an extra £2 you can get a litre of Jim Beam in Asda (Might be local, just tried Asda.com and it's listed as £24)

I remember paying £15 in the mid 90's.
Good price if that's your tipple.
Opening post
Not as good as the previous £20/1L deals from Sainsbury's a few weeks back, but the best price at the moment and cheaper per litre than the equivalent 1L bottle.
Cheapest price at the moment
