That fits a full slice and very almost paying a fortune for one I think that was a Russell Hobbs Walburton one I found this in asda
£10 for 2 slices and £19 for 4 slices
This fits a full slice so no turning mid cycle no longer have an untoasted top part
You can also check progress mid cycle without cancelling

we took a piece of paper and a pen to the bread dept, measured the bread then wandered around the toasters checking depth to get ours which was way more expensive. Good work and good find.

I've linked to these toasters before in threads when people have asked about one that fits Warburtons bread.
I don't have this problem as I only ever have small loaves of bread
BRILLIANT ! what a stupidly simple idea but so so clever ! thank you

Great price - we ended up buying one of these from Clas Ohlson a couple of years ago when trying to find one that toasted Warby's bread. Just checked and must have had some deal on as we only paid £9.89

copes with crumpets admirably  if you put thick un sliced bread in it has a tendency to get stuck but thats the same for most toasters
