The Student Room have thousands of free revision resources for GCSE and A levels, like notes, quizzes, mindmaps etc. They used to cost £70 a year so it's a bit of a bargain - saves shelling out for subscription sites.
My kids use it a lot and assure me it's useful!

Bitesize on the BBC keeps popping up when I'm googling whilst helping my daughter with questions on past papers. Explains stuff pretty well and it's free too, unless you have a TV (if you get my drift). Thanks for this post too, I'll have a look. Was reading earlier this week about an app that people have used with a free trial and had a nightmare cancelling, so be warned.

Subscriptions are such a mixed bag, it's sometimes so annoying to cancel. This is completely free though - no trial periods or anything nasty like that. Bitesize used to be rubbish but it does seem to be getting a lot better
