Yes an excellent price - on asking around through I have gone for the Cuprinol ducks back which is £16 for 9L from b&q at the moment - this will hopefully mean I don't have to touch my fence for another 5 years then

Not sure why putting paint on exterior wood is so popular. Looks good fir a couple of months and then it starts peeling off making it much harder to prep for the next treatment.
The only fence paints that weather gracefully are made by premium brands such as Bedec, Sadolin and Owatrol but they cost upwards of £10/l. I think wood preservers that sink in and stain the wood are better as they just fade with age rather than crack and peel.
Based on comments made in previous deals here, it probably won't last anywhere near 5 years.
