Decent price IMO at the moment for DDR4 RAM. Has been cheaper but does me just now.
To max out performance in the final days of DDR3 technology, you needed the right processor, the right motherboard, a PhD in overclocking, and the willingness to surrender everything in your wallet. Not anymore. Ballistix Elite DDR4 memory cracks the DDR3 performance limit and debuts at 2666 MT/s – and that’s just getting started. Feed your multi-cores and draw upon some of the fastest speeds and bandwidths available.

Actually there is no such thing as a PHD in overclocking, as overclocking would come under the science remit. Therefore it would rightfully be an MSC in overclocking

No, you can do scientific PhDs. You'd probably need some sort of master's degree as a prerequisite, though - like an MSc, for example!
Even then, I've always thought of overclocking as more of an art.

Even loosing dual-channel, I'd rather buy 1 x 8GB if I was on a budget where 16GB now wasn't possible.
4GB DIMMs are just too limiting even on a four slot board.
hi
i have i5 7500 which supports max ddr4 at 2400mhz. if i put this ram will it work with my cpu? i know it will be bottlenecked at 2400mhz but it will be a bit more future proof. i have just bought 2X4gb 2133mhz for 60 quid. please help!! if it will be okay with my cpu it will save me 10 quid. i can still cancel me order with amazon. they haven't dispatched yet.

I bought the 32gb kit not long back for £103 so doesn't seem a very good price to me.

The OP did say it's been a better price but at today's prices, you won't get much better

If you're going to comment, at least think before you do so please. That is such a stupid thing to say. PHD s in science don't exist....hahaha
