All prolex products are 50% off in B&M starting from today . I don't own any prolex myself so can't speak to quality but can't argue with 50% off
As far as I know it's being done to phase this range out as B&M have recently bought goodmans and goodmans branded products will be bought in more widely
I don't understand the voting cold without some sort of explanation. They are cheap anyway, before 50% off, so for the money a great deal. Not the best quality - better than the Tesco own brand range - but if you urgently need an iron/kettle etc and you have little money this will rescue you. I'm going to head down and get a few bits to put in the cupboard for the day when the expensive kettle goes bang!!

Maybe its because they have nothing to base the deal on. 50% off doesn't mean cheaper than anywhere else. If they had items and prices, people can then check and compare.

I have voted cold, I don't think they are better than "cheaper" brand ie Tesco own but I did buy a kettle and toaster and the toaster actually caught fire. It was faulty, this could of been a one off but I would never buy electrical items from b&m again. It caught fire within about 15 seconds and luckily we got to it quickly enough. Contacted head office and they didn't care, just told me to return it for a full refund. Didn't want to test it or see why it caught alight. Id personally avoid all Prolex products

Prolex are quite expensive in other shops so this is an excellent deal, not sure why they are being branded on here as 'cheap tat'. I have a Russel Hobbs and have had to have it replaced 3 times in past year by Argos, a 'name' does not guarantee quality or usability. Will be popping down to B&M and picking up a pyramid kettle I think.

I didn't vote either way, as I don't know the brand just giving a potential reason.

Did you get a price check. Sometimes the staff aren't the brightest, and won't bother pricing stuff up.
