credit to Pavel76 from another post but feel this offer should be shared.

deal for anyone within the final 30 days of their contact or on a rolling contract.

£19 per month for unlimited mins, texts and data. feel at home and 30gb of tethering. 12m contact

http://www.three.co.uk/simplans6

i understand this will only be suitable for a small amount of people like myself but as many others have found Three retentions had turned rubbish and they only seem to offer deals available to new customers. at least that's what i found despite being a customer for many years!

i followed this link and within 4 days got the text confirming my tariff is being updated on my next bill cycle. others too confirmed it worked despite not being on the "your current plan" the link suggests you're meant to be on.

hope this helps anyone who missed the link in the £20 for 30gb data deal comments.

This is your first comment here and you have never posted any deal... so stop talking about fake if you have 0 knowledge. I have upgraded to this tariff 2 weeks ago.

None of the above apply to me.

22 May 17 #198
Does this even apply?

All people are doing is trying to change tariff. It's continuous service and not taking a new contract out so I don't think a credit check is done in this instance. It's the same as if you were upgrading your phone/tariff with the same network. I can't imagine another credit check is done unless you are changing provider.

Don't keep trying! Every attempt counts as a black mark against your credit file.

There are many reasons why you might be rejected:

(Please be aware that if you have a bad credit file they should still approve you on SIM only. They did with me last year and my credit score is awful)

- Not on the electoral register
- Your name on the electoral register is spelled differently
- You've moved address too frequently in the past few years
- You have history of defaulting on payments to other mobile networks
- You have CCJs on your file which were for other networks
- You haven't lived in the UK for very long

Thanks for confirming. I tried a couple of times and it didn't go through.

I'm undecided whether to try again.

I already get unlimited mins, texts and data (12GB tethering) for £20pm on a rolling contract.

Having said that, I don't think I'd leave Three anyway. It just comes down to whether it's worth me saving £12 over the year.

Yep its still working. Big thanks to Pavel76 and cjdean1983 Heres how to make it work.. copy URL go and try your luck via mobilephone.. will display wrong current tariff etc but just go through all process (select the AYCE tariff-option one( theres a few tariffs to choose from, so be careful) then wait...

Few hours later (sometimes sooner) you'll receive either acceptance or rejection text. If you get the rejection text, dont worry, just try again. Also try the link/URL on a laptop tethered with your 3 mobile.. Again fill in the 'upgrade' details choose the correct tariff AYCE everything etc then wait for the text.

It worked for me... (27.04.2017) I even had it confirmed by 'live chat' via mobile and I also called customer services on 333 to double check.

So to recap, if you get the rejection text...just try again (online NOT via 333, if you call 333 to upgrade they'll say 'its not on the system' - thats what they told me) hope this helps.

This seems like its still working... I had the rejection texts 'We're sorry but there's been an issue with you change of tariff request. Please call us on 333 to discuss your options' but I tried again online & again failed ( received same rejection text). but today I received a text stating 'Thanks for staying with Three. We've processed your request and your new tariff will take effect from your next bill.

Yes I can confirm that this works!! I called customer service to confirm and he said yes it's been activated and includes unlimited everything, 30gb tethering, feel at home. £19 pm on a 12month contract.
Amaze balls deal!! Thanks!
Ps.three is the only one who actually give unlimited data, unlike Virgin who after 2gb virtually cut my internet off each month, I asked them how can it be unlimited when it's limited? Duh!

you have to try your luck. I was on the old "all you can eat tariff" so unlimited everything, 4GB personal hotspot and feel at home. joined 3 four years ago. my initial 2 yr sim only package expired 2yrs ago! everytime I called to negotiate a downgrade (lets face it, if your sim only you're trying to save money) customer services would frustrate me and I would give up. Got the same txt everyone else got threating me to choose a new package or I would be rolled over to the one month rolling package for £30month (unlimited everything, feel at home & 30GB hotspot). I didn't use DD so this worked out £35. i was soo annoyed I called up and told them they were breaking the law as I hadnt signed a new rolling contract. Saw this post and asked for the same offer. after 15-25mins, i was moved onto the £19 tariff, unlimited everything, 30GB hotspot and feel at home. if you don't ask, you don't get! Hope this helps someone!!

that's an amazing deal and worth sticking on a rolling contract for. not worth the £12 a year saving.

My contract ended about 3 months ago.
When I click through the link it gives me all the options for the deals discussed.
But on my old contract I was paying £20 for unlimited everything with 12GB personal hotspot and since my contract has ended I have been paying the same amount.
I checked with their live chat time and was advised that unless I change I would remain a month by month package and my bills would be £20.
No point changing for me

Im on a £17 per month unlimited data 4gb tethering, 200 mins plan which I got put on after I was taken off the one plan around 18 months ago, this is just a monthly roll over. Signed up to this to see what happens.

Though im slightly worried about losing my current deal which im reasonably happy with.

Very tempting. My minimum term end date is 01/06/17 and I'm up for upgrade if I want to from 25th April. Should I apply for this deal when I'm able to upgrade to give them notice next month and then apply ? End of contract seems a bit confusing to me.
Cy7
7 Apr 17 #179
This seems very tempting. My minimum term end date is 01/06/17 so should I give them notice next month and try to apply for this deal ? (Just in case I can't get this deal I don't really want to get charged for an extra month) Or apply for this deal when I can upgrade my device ? (25th April I think)

yes i was offered that but it does ot have hotspot or feelfree so i said no. I am not bothered about feelfree but need hotspot for my ipad. I just dont get why it matters what device you use your 30gig on any way.

i tried everything and was offered nothing good just what was on there site apart form the 30gig/unlimited min txt for £15 but no hotspot.

when you get to the end of the contract check the three app as well. as said, mine offered 600 mins for an extra fiver, which would still be decent for you if you needed more minutes.

this is a good deal if you can get it, I am on all you can eat data (30Gb hotspot) 200 min and all you can eat text for £15 per month, contract ends at end of April. Called upgrades at Three and they advised plan & price will stay the same and be on a 1 month rolling. Asked about the unlimited everything and they said they could not see that offer for £19 but it was available for £32. will wait till the end of April and may give this a try as like the look of all you can eat min's as I could get rid of the land line phone.

dude unless you tether more than 30gb (presuming yours has unlimited tether but may not) get yourself on a rolling 1 month plan....they're like 35 max.

I've given this a stab. currently on ayce data, 4gb hotspot with 200 mins for £17.
if i get this awesome for just 2 quid more. if not on the three app i have the option to upgrade to 600 mins same data for £23 but 1 month rolling. needing more minutes of late so will get that as second choice.

Ahh, I took a little too long thinking about my contract change so I was moved onto the £22 deal rather than the £19 one as planned. So if they say they're going to kick you off your nie old contract, make sure you make your changes with 3 working days to spare!

Just phoned them as my husband was successfully upgraded to this but I wasn't.

Appears it's if moving from Essential to an Advanced plan.

Hubby was £14pm ~ 4GB data, unlimited mins & texts. Moved to unlimited everything with Feel At Home and 30GB Hotspot (tethering) for £19 a month.

I'm currently unlimited data & texts 200 mins, Feel At Home and 30GB Hotspot for £20 a month, but as I'm already on an Advanced plan they won't allow me to change to this plan.

Both within 30 days of contract end.

I didn't get it either hit an sms saying theres a problem and to call 333. so I'm stuck in the rolling 1 month contract 600mins unlimited data with hotspot @£25pm ****...oh well I don't mind so much since I use over 100gb a month anyways. I am thinking I am justified however as I have 3 contracts with them.

is this 100% this price for 12 months and then once it goes onto the rolling contract after the 12 months it stays at the £19 ? as I am on the £20 and get 200min so this is better for me

I also looked into my account and they have offered me nothing in my billing upgrade as the link above is from someone with a different tariff.

are people who are getting this deal on the same tariff as the user and the people who have a different tariff from the link are not getting it ?

cheers all

I was on live chat today & they said that offer was for New Contracts, & not for upgrades, they told me to call 333.
Stooby49
24 Mar 17 1 #154
Yes, the 1st person said it was a payg sim in case I wanted to give it to someone. After the live chat finished, I noticed that it was in an envelope marked "pay monthly", so I had another live chat session and was told it was in case I needed a replacement sim.

I don't really believe either story, so if anyone else has a better explanation, I'd like to hear it.

Meanwhile, I'll be checking what payments 3 are taking!

Never got offered the deal. Just used the link on here and tried my luck.

My current tariff is near identical to this one with the only differences being I get 12GB tethering rather than 30GB and I pay £20 rather than £19.

Couldn't believe they wouldn't offer it me and said I mustn't have been looking on three.co.uk

24 Mar 17 #149
Did you guys who got rejected get the deal offered to you by text/letter like I did?

I've not had a confirmation yet but they said it would take up to 5 days. But if they reject me as well I will laugh and be happy to go elsewhere. If I wasn't moving house and planning a wedding I'd have definitely left Three this year, but I don't have time to faff around. Very unlikely I'll renew again next year.

From what I am to believe, if it is the same as the last time something like this was posted, then this will be for people on the very old ONE PLAN which they made obsolete a while back....I could be wrong so please don't shoot the messenger. Either way I am staying with Three. Yes the signal can be rubbish at times but certain areas can be better than others and also the price is cheaper for what you get.

Brabus_Duddy
23 Mar 17 #140
I signed up for the 12 month one. I remember that bit and that they are offering the best price. I am sure other providers have honoured things like this but Three won't with me. I spent hours saying i was angry I had to pay more but got nowhere.
Brabus_Duddy
23 Mar 17 #139
I have just rang Three and they said that they NEVER have offered this to anyone. I gave them the link and funny enough it says can't see this, even though I loaded it up same time as they did on the phone.

I can't leave as I am tied down so still pay more for me. Strange though that I am paying £27 for the same but I guess it is the luck of the draw. They said they will arrange a call back for me with their manager.......don't want to wast even more time to hear the same script hahahaha!
cjdean1983
23 Mar 17 #138
unfortunately you only get 14 days to cancel if you change your mind so there's no going back with the renewed contract. Worth checking if you signed up for a 12 month contract or sticking in a rolling contract though because a rolling contract might mean you can take this deal. I can't recall if you confirmed if you tried the link or not. If not, you might as well chance it. Worst case scenario is they won't honour it.
Brabus_Duddy
23 Mar 17 1 #137
I went to call them begining of March for something and it started with this:

"Welcome to Three. Thank you for calling about your expired call plan. To talk to someone please press 1"

I was like ermm what the hell. Then got a letter through post saying my plan has expired a bit ago and no longer available. I was on unlimited everything for £25, included 4gb tether. They said I could keep unlimited everything and have 30gb tether for £27. or drop to 30gb data and unlimited everything else for £24.

Sometimes Three makes me angry as they really don't care sometimes. 3 phones calls, each over 1 hour, and nothing budging. Spoke to the Offshore people and Onshore people. Seems they just didnt want to budge. My dad had to change his but got Unlimited Mins, Texts and 4gb data for £9! And it is the advanced plan too!
Stooby49

I just looked at the paperwork that came with it, and it has a completely different phone number on it - strange really, because if I log in to my 3 it shows the correct contract terms (ie the new ones). I think I'll have to contact 3 via live chat tomorrow and query it.

Great find. I've been with Three for as long as they have been around. Peaking at some point at paying them over £125 per month for 4 contracts (family). Unfortunately retention's in Three now is none existent now, after all my custom and loyalty (if such a thing exists these days) I get sweet FA from Three these days. My 2 x 24 mth contract just ended last month (they were getting like £80+ per month and I requested a PAC as all they offered was exactly the same deals a new customer was getting - on some occasions new customers got better deals on some tariffs than they offered me.

i used to work in retention's for a mobile phone company and at that time i remember what i offered a customer was usually based on what they spent / time with us, if they were big spenders they would get the best deals (Just how it worked then) .. Now though they dont seem to be bothered.

i was simply offered a 1 month rolling that was available on their website for £29. Infact the lads in my local Three store got me a better deal than retention's offered me, such a joke!
From the link you provided I could get a better deal yet £10 cheaper again lol
Anyway, thanks for the link, dont wanna move to another network

I've just had a lengthy conversation where the team leader came onto the line. He said this deal was account specific and the deal is no longer available. His name was Ravi . He said they didn't offer this deal to everyone. I feel cheated. I have been a 3 customer for years I don't download excessively. I think all 3 deals should be spammed. Also this needs to be expired.

Well, I've given this a go and I will wait to see if my plan changes. I'm already on a similar offer, but with 12Gb of tethering and £20 a month. I may as well save a pound a month and get a boost to 30Gb on my tethering.
cjdean1983
21 Mar 17 1 #86
yes this deal is intended for customers on that plan but it seems to work for anyone. I'm only on £9 a month plan and it's worked for me and several others. If you're out of contact then the best bet is give it a try. what do you have to lose?!

I just got off the phone with a rep. He was adamant that this deal does not exist. After explaining where I have seen the deal. He said it is for new contracts only and that to get it you would have to take it as a new contract and pay the other one with a new number. These are his words not mine. I told him I followed the link and submitted my request and am waiting for a phone call. He didn't have a clue what I was talking about. How long do you have to wait before you get a text. He also said it's not really better than what your on. I said it's £4 cheaper do you understand or not. Awful 22 minster.
cjdean1983
20 Mar 17 1 #82
To confirm to all, although I have yet to receive the new tarriff, I went on "chat" via the Three mobile app and chatted with an advisor to confirm the deal. Annoyingly the chat didn't save so I can't paste a copy of what was said however I can confirm the following:

Tarriff starts on your next bill cycle (mine is the 5th of each month)
Tarriff DOES include "Feel At Home"
Cost is £19 per month for 12 months. There are no full price or half price months where the amount changes. It is simply £19 per month
There is no discount for having more than 1 Three contract in one household however you can get £25 refer a friend voucher each for recommending someone.

If in doubt since following the link, do the same as me, go on chat via your mobile and ask them what your next months allowances will be.
cjdean1983
20 Mar 17 #81
I'm sure your get a cooling off period. call them and ask if the new deal is a rolling contract or 12 months. basically you want to get back into whatever you were originally going to be forced onto before you committed a new contract so you're rolling and can then try the link
Superman80
20 Mar 17 #80
Surely the blurb at the bottom is correct and it would be £19 for the full 12 months?
Full Price 12 x £32 = £384
Half Price for 6 months Deduction 6 x £16 = (£96)
Direct Debit Discount 6 x £5 = (£60)
Cost for 12 Months = £228 divided by 12 = £19

Hot deal from me if it comes off!

Took it out on 4th March.......I am gathering I have no chance to get it changed.......

Pavel76 has clarified this in a previous deal on here.

On his online account it shows £19pm until March 2018.
Picard123
19 Mar 17 #70
Anyone able to clarify this?

Not much good if it's £19 only for the first 6 months.
sreenireddy
19 Mar 17 #69
the 6months blurb only applied to New customers or additional contracts so dont be put off by that. also i noticed changing that 6 to a 7 or 8 also works but the price increases for the exact same stuff tried other way too but 6 is cheapest
sreenireddy
19 Mar 17 #68
just tried the link and applied so here gies.I was in a rolling one unlimited data/text.600 min.30 gb hotspot @ 25pm also got free 3to3 added.
mixtlupus
19 Mar 17 #67
It would appear that only the 1st 6 months is half price so:

I was paying £18PM (£216PY)
I now pay £26PM as my contract has expired (£312PY)

The Offer:
With the £19PM being half price (£114 For Half a Year including £5 off per month for paying by DD)
Which puts the second 6 months at (£258 for 6 months including £5 off per month for paying by DD)
Which totals £372 for the year including all discounts (£31 a month)

It's not really a deal it's actually worse than sticking on the current tarrif as my yearly bill would go up from £312PY to £372PY.

andy515
19 Mar 17 1 #64
Depends where you live and go.

I've been with Three for 5.5 years and never had issues and I do a fair bit of travelling and to some places I never thought I'd get a signal due to it being more remote but Three have never failed me.

Good for some, bad for others, just like any network.

Personally, Three are the best network but that's just me.
Picard123
19 Mar 17 #63
Cheap but 3's 4G data speeds and signal drops are abysmal. Too many subscribers, not enough capacity.
andy515

That's what normally happens and has happened on my previous two times with Three.
andy515
19 Mar 17 #61
I can't confirm myself yet but looking at the difference in plans (essential and advanced) it looks to me like it will include feel at home as you don't get a tethering allowance on the essential plans unless you include an add-on whereas you get 30GB included on this just like the advanced plans.
meridiusuk
19 Mar 17 #60
but after 12 months it would revert to a rolling 30 day contract for the same price ?

cjdean1983

no it's £19 for 12 months. the half price blurb probably relates to another deal for new customers most likely advertised on the email where this link was originally sent as an invite.

Here is the list of countries including outside of EU included with Feel at Home - http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Phones/Feel_At_Home?id=1523&aidset=1

Agree with you though that for people only ever travelling within the EU it could be worth waiting for better deals on other networks.

Has there been anymore clarity with regards to this? Mobile roaming yes, but has it been confirmed whether text/data will also included? Plus, I wonder what will happen once Brexit fully kicks in? Since no has a crystal ball, I guess we'll have to wait and see :smirk:

Heat OP but I think I'll wait. Three retentions really have gone down hill lately haven't they...
ec9wrr to Derek_Duval
18 Mar 17 1 #37
You may still benefit. There's a subtle difference. Three like home uses your free allowance. The EU rule that comes in this summer says that roaming in the EU must be the same price as in home territory. Check how much networks charge in UK after free minutes / data, it's likely this is what you'll pay for free roaming. The EU regs don't say that your free allowance must work when roaming, just the price must be the same. So for example if you get 500 minutes free but it 35p a minute after the free minutes, when roaming they could charge you 35p a minute even if you haven't yet used your free minutes. Still meets the EU regulations, but isn't as exciting as the regulations sound when you first hear them. Hope that makes sense.

I still feel three offers fantastic value with the free roaming. Especially when you see how much many uk networks charge after your free allowances. In a lot of cases you were paying less for roaming a few years ago than you will when these regulations start!

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ee-simo-deal-20gb-4g-data-ultd-min-texts-plus-100-amazon-voucher-19-99pm-ee-total-2634840

Only 20GB and limited EU only data (until 15th june where you can use all your allowed centre in the EU), and you have to use the Amazon voucher to make it £11.66 equivalent. But it does work out much cheaper, and EE has better 4G performance.

Thanks for the post OP! I made the silly mistake by moving from 3 to Vodafone. I've never ever dealt with such incompetent staff! A charge appeared on my January bill which I disputed. Roll on March and after chatting to three Vodafone staff on separate occasions who promised it would be removed it's still there! Venturing to their store (again!) today to get their finger out and get it sorted. The deal above will be great for my son. I can't wait to move back to 3.
