Laptop is fully working, brand new retail return, but must be plugged in at all the times or you need to buy a new battery (replacing the battery will fix the issue)
Remember that this is basic laptop, for web browsing, watching movies etc. - this is not a gaming machine !
I had a quick look and I can't find a cheaper touch screen 11.6" Windows 10 laptop anywhere, so HOT for me !

Don't do this to yourself! I had a HP Stream 11 to take to the gym to do a bit of work. It was so awful by the time it booted up it was time to go! These are basically memory cards rather then SSDs. The price is good but the experience is terrible. Get a chromebook! Hell even an old netbook and stick an SSD in it!

Good but sold out? CPU is ok but definitely needs a bigger SSD. Any more around?

Did you uninstall all the bloatware, and stop unwanted applications opening on start-up?

We have this model without any problems, grated we don't run windows.
eMMC is what you're talking about, and they aren't that bad.

The cpu in these is weaker than the one found in most sub £50 windows tablets the only advantage is the higher amount of ram and storage space

Not sure what CPU you're looking at, but Celeron 1037U is much faster than any CPU that you will find in <£100 tablets:

The 1037u is also quite compatible with Hackintoshing, depending on the rest of the chipset. I remember there was quite a brisk business in these conversions when they featured in the Intel NUCs.

Nice find OP and the other 128GB one - though that is a repaired refurb not new. Personally I would still buy an ex-lease machine over these for performance but horses for courses as they say.

If you know how to upgrade your CPU and don't mind breaking the warranty this will be for you. But for just an intel graphic card not for me

Without looking into it, it's possible that the CPU and or RAM might be soldered? The CPU is good for price, but it would be good if the RAM and SSD could be upgraded.

Is this model 7270-9062? Looking to see if RAM is upgradeable.

According to eBay it is the 7270-9062.
Just noticed that they also do 14.0" version, with 64GB SSD for £189.99 - other specs seems to be the same:
I have a similar laptop - Lenovo 100s.. brilliant for basic use boots up quickly . yes it's not upgradeable.. but with a 128gb micro SD card installed would highly recommend laptops with this level of specifications..

I was trying to use google drive from an SD card due to limitations of the SSD (well SD Card really). Was a signature edition too so no bloat! I installed Ubuntu on it which ran really well but the right click didn't work due to touchpad drivers..the weakest point of lower powered hardware is windows...

Just seen this has 4GB RAM...that will help vs 2GB on HP Stream.

Anyone help with two questions? Is the SSD drive big enough to load Microsoft Office as this is mainly what this would be used for and 'realistically' is keyboard big enough for word processing? Many thanks in advance.

I got mine on the 10th Feb.
Plugged it in and started it up and all was ok. I left it on charge. Just had it sitting there and I was just tinkering with it and was generally very happy. After the weekend I decided I would take it down the pub and do some work on it.
I went to unplug it and it died straight away.
The next day I sent the sellers a message through e-bay and they said they would contact me.
I got a phone call later that day, they said a replacement battery was in the post and that I should get it next day.
Sure enough, next day I have a new battery and everything now seems to be working fine.
I had it playing youtube videos last night for 8 hours on battery.
Will leave it a week before I leave feedback though. ( Note to myself, let the sellers know this too ).

So after using it a week is it any good? Also, now that you've changed the battery do you know if it's possible to swap out the ssd to a bigger one in this machine?

I'm pleased with it.
I didn't need it, just bought it for the price and touch screen.
The battery seems fine now, just got to work out where to dispose of the old one that is environmentally friendly.
This came with a spare cradle for a hard drive but no instructions. There is no small section on the back to remove. It's either all or nothing.
I haven't ventured down that route yet and I don't know if I will.
I have briefly looked for instructions on doing that but didn't find any. At the moment I'm not overly bothered but time will tell.
I suppose though, that in all honesty, this is more of a toy for me. Something fairly compact I can take out with me.

Description now says "Laptop is brand new but it only works when charger is plugged in ! Please consider this before buying !"
I don't remember it saying that when I bought it.
My battery was also faulty and they sent me a replacement without any hastle.
