Yeah it would be £18.99 with the Facebook code - Surely everyone uses that when purchasing? :stuck_out_tongue:

they limit its use now. the price of this game will plummet.
The discount code from their facebook page worked, bringing it down a quid. Not a new customer. Thanks!

The same for me also. I've bought off them in the past. And was still able to use the 5% discount code.

They amended their placeholder ad for the Like page to say 2 uses per account. It was very ambiguous - was that two uses ever or two uses per individually generated code. Anyway, my account and another on this forum (after the forum member emailed them) were told they could no longer use any FB code.

I was asking why you think the price of the game will plummet.

Basing the pricing strategy of cdkeys on that of Pillars. Pillars dropped so very fast to sub-£10. This RPG will be even less appealing than Pillars in my opinion as there's less emphasis on combat. cdkeys will find themselves overstocked with keys and will lower the price fast.

That was true of Pillars on CDKeys but the price has not lowered too much elsewhere. I had read your comment as the price in general will be lowered. I too wondered if CDKeys had somehow ended up with too many keys for Pillars, that might not happen for Torment.

I honestly hope the price doesn't drop too fast due to the fact its crowd funded. Just feels wrong - I presume (no idea if right or wrong) that they are a grey key seller, and they are based the tax haven of Dubai. I feel in my water that they will be overstocked with this game which will be too text heavy for the majority of gamers; it seems to suit long time Torment fans down to the ground though.

Yeah I would be tempted to get it from CDKeys to give it a try, I never played Torment but I do like the sound of it. Big Infinity engine game fan. But I would worry the devs won't see the money if I bought it this way. Anyway I haven't played Pillars properly yet and I need to do that before the sequel next year

I know what you mean. I am a third of the way through Pillars and only just started Tyranny....
