Found these today at one of my local Tesco Superstores in Belfast, didn't get a chance to check another store so as with all these "Tesco Deals" it will probably be store specific.
A box with 4pks of 42 wipes Was £6.00 now £1.50
This is the Pink packaged Gentle Clean version,
. . . The Blue packaged Classic Clean was reduced from £6 to £4
As a side issue Andrex claim these are flushable as opposed to other brands that are not but we don't take the chance.
Hmm, is this a **** that gets voted hot because it'sa **** deal? in a tour driver (coaches) these are a double edge sword really. They block the toilet on the coach, but a lot of places I stay have very basic hygiene facilities and these are a necessity. Coins in the air here.

These should be banned. I used to use them - and then a cheaper supermarket alternative which also claims to be flushable. I have not had a blocked drain but have read numerous articles in the last few months highlighting the problems these things cause. It left me angry and feeling rather foolish that I'd been gullible enough to fall for the marketing hype. We seem to be obsessed with "wipes" for many different functions these days; floor wipes, kitchen wipes, bathroom wipes, windscreen wipes, nappy wipes - the list goes on. Perhaps we should consider returning to the old-fashioned method of using dishcloths and flannels and ensuring the we NEVER put any sort of wipe into our drainage system. Of course the manufacturers are never going to admit the damage to the drains these things cause they make too much money from them.
